Payment Policy
Tricell does its best to accommodate the payment terms requests of our clients. Please note the types of payments that we accept and in what circumstances. Note that these are not negotiable.
Letter of Credit (LC) at Sight: This is a preferred payment mechanism for Tricell. This LC must be on a worldwide bank and must be irrevocable. For orders of less than 3 containers, we will charge a $400 LC handling fee.
TT advance: TT advance is a preferred method of payment.
Net30 payment terms: We can offer Net30 payment terms to US, Australian, and European customers who have strong credit records (Dunn and Bradstreet ratings) and must pass a bank credit review by our banks. We only offer these types of credit terms to customers who purchase more than 200MT per month and the customer must purchase 2 orders from us using LC or TT before they can apply for payment terms. If you are not in the USA, Europe, or other similar nation, our banks will not approve Net30. Approval for this payment terms is strictly in the hands of our bank. We cannot influence their decision.
DP: We offer DP payment terms only in circumstances where the entire amount is guaranteed by LC.
LC90/180: Similar to our Net30 terms, for customers who have previously purchased from us two times before, we can extend LC90/180 terms. This typically increases the prices slightly, so you should inquire in advance about this.
